First Smiles with Grammie!

Phil's mom, Grammie, came to stay with us for a week! It was so much fun. Here are some pictures of her painting Piper's toes pink (which Piper LOVES) and sweet Lily. Grammie made her so happy that she started smiling this week. It is such a joy to have her smiling and cooing now.

Their 1st playdate....

Here are some great pictures of Piper and Lily "playing." Piper is feeding Lily- which is funny, but Lily loved it! So enjoy the first of many play sessions.

Some favorite friends visit!

Erin and Sarah visited us last week and it was so fun to see these great friends! They had fun playing with Piper (who called them "her friends") and loved meeting sweet Lily. Then, we got to hang out with Ryon and my bff, Sarah- that's Lily they are holding....not their child. We are SO excited that they are getting married soon! yay!!!!

Our 2 little valentines.

Some pictures from our week of celebrating Valentine's Day! Phil, Lily and I got to go out to dinner with our friends Sarah and Ryon (who just got engaged!). It was a GREAT time together. Also, pictured is Piper ready for her Valentine's party at school and the girls getting their presents.

Favorite pics.

okay. so i know you're not supposed to do like 4 blogs in one day, but this is how i operate. i consider this our on-line scrapbook and not really my journal so here is yet another page into our lives.

"Snow is falling!," says Piper.

Piper is in heaven because we have 3 inches of snow on the ground and so what if it's 18 degrees outside...we WILL play and we WILL play hard. Here are some pictures from this morning. We cannot wait until both our girls can romp in the snow. Although, changing two may take even longer than the 45 minutes it took for us to get ready and to camp (which is 2 1/2 miles away from our house and we travelled by car- not foot).

The engaged...

We are so excited to welcome Chris Barton into our family! He is about to have the experience of a lifetime! Chris propsed to my middle sister, Danielle, on Decebmer 22nd in New York in front of that big Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. We are SO happy that it is him that the Lord had in mind for Danielle. Here are some photos from their recent visit to meet Lily. Anne came down for the day too!

Sisters.

Sisterhood is the best thing. I know it firsthand and now get to see it in my girls. Here are a few pictures of our sisterhood. Pictured here are 5 of the 11 (!) GIRLS born in a row from my mom's side of the family. My Grandma would be proud of her legacy...especially, the first picture. :)
